The science of flow is so compelling most people ignore it

What I am going to share with you sounds too good to be true. And of course if someone responds in this way they often ignore the sound advice, compelling as it might sound. Well ladies and gentlemen the science of flow and optimal performance does sound too good to be true. But watch and read on as I present to you 3 numbers which I think can totally change the way you approach your life.

Let’s start with the bad news. Only 11% of the population has a ‘questing nature’ which allows them to find flow on a regular basis. But the good news is you can get fit for flow and end up being a high performer more often. My free online course The 7 Secrets of Increasing Personal Energy is a great place to start.

Now let’s introduce the too good to be true numbers. When you achieve flow you can be up to X5 more effective. Motivation, learning and creativity all go through the roof. This 500% gain is a game changer in our work, life and relationships.

Bringing us down a level, we are reminded that we can’t be in flow all of the time as it is energy expensive. But we can achieve flow for 15% of our waking hours. So if you take an average 40 hour working week this equates to about 4 hours in flow. Multiply this 4 by the X5 from above and you have 20. Those 4 hours you spend in flow are worth 20. Productivity wise you are at the coal face for 40 hours but clocking nearer 60.

This is true, and it sounds good. How will you respond?
