But what if on a personal level we also experience…
- Loss.
- Terror.
- Conflict.
- Disintegration.
Everything is connected. The failing state is the last part of the connection prior to the potential unravelling of civilisation no less. The nation unravels. We unravel. We need to be aware of these indicators – growth, energy and resources.
Growth – corporate, economic, capitalism, population, poverty.
Energy – fossil fuels, peak oil, rising temperatures, rise of local prices, climate change, threats to food security, climate refugees, famine.
Resources – depletion of resources, soil erosion, collapsing fisheries, species extinction, impact on ecosystem services.
