Are you a symbol for the east and the west?

The Tao Of Physics by Capra is a great introduction to both Eastern and Western approaches to our lives and work. In short, if you not drawing on both approaches you are missing a trick. Get them both right and people will think you are a magician. They will be under your spell, but there are no illusions here.
This short video (2:27) goes into some of the concepts in much more detail. In particular I pick up on the following quote…
“The one most important characteristic of the Eastern world view – one could almost say the essence of it – is the awareness of the unity and mutual interrelation of all things and events, the experience of all phenomena in the world as manifestations of a basic oneness. All things are seen as interdependent and inseparable parts of this cosmic whole; as different manifestations of that same ultimate reality.”
